Pharmacological trials established that systemic manifestation of Rheumatoid Arthritis may be accounted for by release of inflammatory molecules of cytokines from joints. These cytokines are TNF-alfa (tumour necrosis factor), IL-1beta, and IL-6. The oil blend in a topical application on arthritic mice was found to bring down or regulate these arthritic markers in blood serum in pre-and post-measurement of these cytokines. The above results in Figure-1 are after 21 days of oil treatment.
