Dr. Binoy K. Bordoloi is an R&D professional with more than 35 years of experience, successfully bridging between technology and commercialization. Research expertise include: therapeutic areas of nephrology, plasma-derived proteins, and surgical systems for wound closure and hemostasis. As a Business Unit Director, he sat up operations of Baxter Healthcare Corporation, Deerfield, Illinois (US) in the Indian subcontinent from a zero base to a significant operation of treating patients with end-stage renal disease. As a Principal Scientist at Johnson & Johnson, Somerville, New Jersey he developed technologies for synthetic and fibrin based sealants as adjunct to sutures and staples, as well as developed topical cream-based products for consumer applications, for example anti-aging creams.
